SHEET 04PROCESS & FAQ

Handshake
to launch.

A real sequence, in order, with something in your hands at every step. And below it — the questions everyone asks, answered without the runaround.

Step 01 — Talk

A conversation, not a pitch

We talk about your business — what you sell, who buys it, what the site needs to do, and what's not working today. No jargon, no discovery-phase invoice. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

YOU GET: a plain-English plan and a fixed price, in writing.

Step 02 — Design

Designed around your actual work

Your photos, your voice, your customers — not a template with your logo dropped in. You see the direction early and shape it while changing course is still cheap. Nothing moves forward until it looks like your business.

YOU GET: a design you've seen and approved before a line of it is built.

Step 03 — Build

Watch it come together

Hand-built, fast, and tested on real phones. You follow along on a live preview link and flag anything that feels off — no surprise reveal at the end, no "that's phase two" when you ask for what you were promised.

YOU GET: a live preview link from the first week of the build.

Step 04 — Launch

Everything connected, everything yours

Domain, hosting, email, Google — handled and connected, all registered in your name. You launch with working forms, analytics you can read, and instructions you can actually follow. Then I'm still here — that's what Care & updates is for.

YOU GET: a live site, every login, and a walkthrough of how to run it.

FAQ

Asked every time

Straight answers — because these are exactly the right questions to ask anyone who wants to build your website.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on scope — the services page shows what each kind of project includes. Send a few sentences about your business and you get a fixed quote, in writing, before anything starts. The price you agree to is the price you pay.

How long does it take?

Most websites take a few weeks from kickoff to launch; online stores run longer depending on catalog size and how much brand work we're doing. You get a real timeline with your quote — and because you're watching the build on a live preview, you always know where things stand.

Do I actually own my site?

Yes — completely, from day one. Domain, hosting, and every login are registered in your name, not mine. Some shops keep control of clients' domains and charge rent forever; I think that's holding your business hostage. If we part ways tomorrow, you keep everything.

I already have a Facebook page. Do I need a website?

A Facebook page is renting a room in someone else's building — the rules, the reach, and the layout can change overnight, and searching customers may never find you. A website is the one place online you fully control. Keep the Facebook page; give it somewhere to point.

I already have a website. Can you fix it instead of rebuilding?

Often, yes. That's what Care & updates is for — speed fixes, content updates, and tune-ups on what you have. If the honest answer is that a rebuild would serve you better, I'll tell you that and explain why, and the call stays yours.

Not sure which you need? Send me your site and I'll reply with the three fixes I'd make first — free.

What do you need from me?

Less than you'd think: a conversation about your business, whatever photos you have (phone photos of real work often beat stock), and quick answers when I check facts like hours and service areas. I handle the words, the design, and all the technical setup.

What happens after launch?

The site is yours and everything you need to run it is handed over. If you'd rather have someone keeping an eye on it — updates, fixes, seasonal changes — that's the care plan, a flat monthly rate, cancel anytime. No lock-in either way.
